May Summer Slide Community Book Giveaway Program
In May 2022 all Garin Students chose a free book. Parents got information on how to support their children to be lifelong readers. We believe getting books into kids’ hands will help prevent summer slide in their reading. It was heartwarming to see them reading in line and while waiting for parents to pick them up.. We hope to do this program at your school if your school has the most CCRA members by June 2025.
